Rave Review for WHITNEY

The Gay Men’s Chorus of Washington, DC continues its 2022-2023 Season with a concert saluting the music of the iconic Whitney Houston titled WHITNEY. The concert was performed on March 11 & 12, 2023 at the Lincoln Theatre.

Critic Malcolm Lewis Barnes of DC Theater Arts says the show “sparkles with harmony, fashion, and honesty” and said “what made the evening special was the over-the-top dance numbers by the 17th Street Dancers and the poignant monologues and personal stories of how Whitney Houston’s spirit touched the lives of so many members of the LGBTQ community in their formative years.”
