Emmy-nominee Jackie Hoffman to host Spring Affair

The Gay Men’s Chorus of Washington, DC is pleased to announce that our guest host for Spring Affair 2019 will be stage, television, and film actress Jackie Hoffman. Ms. Hoffman is most notably known for her role as Mamacita on FX-TV’s “Feud,” for which she received an Emmy nomination. She has also appeared on “Difficult People,” “Girls,” “Strangers With Candy,” and “Gilmore Girls.” Some of her memorable film roles include Birdman, Kissing Jessica Stein, Garden State, and A Dirty Shame. On Broadway, she has co-starred in Xanadu, On The Town, The Addams Family, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, and Hairspray for which she won a Theatre World Award. Her solo shows at Joe’s Pub have received critical acclaim, including “The Kvetching Continues,” “Jackie Five-Oh,” and “Jackie with a Z.” In 2009, she received the Mac Award for best female standup. She is currently co-starring off-Broadway in Fiddler on the Roof from the National Yiddish Theatre Folksbiene.

Spring Affair will be held on Saturday, May 11, 2019 at the Ritz-Carlton, Washington, DC located at 1150 22nd Street NW, Washington, DC 20037.
