James Richardson Recording Endowment Fund
It was with loving gratitude to our Founding Director, Dr. Jim Richardson, that GMCW established in the fall of 1996 an endowment fund in his name to provide seed monies for future CD recordings made by the Chorus. Jim had the loving spirit and vision for us to get to where we are today. His musical leadership skills led us to perform in New York City at the first-ever GALA festival of choruses, and his positive energy has left a lasting imprint on our GMCW family. Jim, who resided in Houston in recent years with his life partner, Bruce Woolley, died there on May 9, 1997.
