This House Shall Stand- Songs of My Family
Commissioned by GMCW, music by Robert Seeley, lyrics by Robert Espindola.
Premiered at the Kennedy Center, Washington,DC, 2007.
Songs of My Family reflects the joys and sorrows, challenges and achievements of GLBT relationships with our biological families and with our families of choice. On a personal level, Songs of My Family speaks to my own life as a gay man, a parent and a member of the Gay Men's Chorus of Washington, DC. I am honored to join my voice with this Chorus, as we sing about the journeys of our lives. -- Alex Ford

Changing Hearts - The Silver Anniversary Album
Commissioned by GMCW, music and lyrics by Alan Shorter.
Premiered at the GALA Choruses Festival, Montreal, 2004.
Changing Hearts explores ways in which GMCW and the gay and lesbian choral movement have brought understanding, compassion, acceptance, and healing to many different hearts. Changing Hearts shares stories of coming out; the relationship between a military father and his gay son; the healing of a broken relationship between a gay man and the woman who loved him; a fun look at the challenges of gay dating; and the touching story of an older gay man.
