Appear as a Walk-On on HBO’s Big Love and Have Drinks with “Mr. Gay Hollywood,” Howard Bragman

You can feel like a Hollywood star for a day! The winner and a companion will have the unique opportunity to be walk-ons for an episode of HBO’s hit series Big Love. Imagine what it’s like to be on a Hollywood set being filmed in your TV debut. Who knows where it could lead? But this package doesn’t end there. You will be introduced to the stars — Bill Paxton, Chloë Sevigny and Jeanne Tripplehorn — and will receive a script and cast photo autographed by the four main stars of the show, along with DVDs of the show’s complete seasons 1 and 2.

But there’s more. In addition to the walk-on, you will meet Howard Bragman, “Mr. Gay Hollywood,” for drinks. Mr. Bragman’s the famous P.R. agent who is always contacted by the press whenever there’s a gay-related issue in Hollywood. He has represented such stars as Cameron Diaz and Paula Abdul, advised Howard Dean at the beginning of his presidential candidacy and strategized with the Lewinskys on how to handle “Monicagate.” Think of the gossip he can share! Mr. Bragman will also give you an autographed copy of his new book, Where’s My 15 Minutes?, dealing with fame and how to get (or avoid) it.

Note: HBO will schedule the exact date with the winner, which will be at a time between August and October 2009. It is possible that you will be given only two weeks’ notice.

The orchestra performs in the wonderful acoustics of St. John’s Episcopal Church in Ellicott City. The 2009–2010 season includes the season opener on Sunday, November 8, featuring Vivaldi’s Four Seasons, Bloch’s Concerto Grosso No. 1 and Mendelssohn’s Italian Symphony; Sunday, February 21: children’s concerts featuring three-time Emmy Award winner John Taylor performing The Kinderman; and Sunday, April 18: Water, Water, Everywhere concert for Earth Day featuring Handel’s Water Music, Elgar’s Sea Pictures and the world premiere of Joyful Waters of the Chesapeake, by award-winning Maryland composer Vivian Adelberg Rudow.
