Jeff's BlogWhile I am spending several days this week in Ft. Lauderdale preparing the Ft. Lauderdale and Miami Gay Men's Choruses for 2 performances of the 2007 GMCW commission Songs of My Family, my thoughts never travel far from GMCW's upcoming show everything gAy to Z.

When I think of reasons for anyone wanting to come to see EG2Z, many things come to mind.

1.  We are an "OUT TO WOW YOU" chorus.  EG2Z is filled with WOW moments.

2.  Our goal is not just to entertain — and believe me, we will be entertaining you — our goal is also to educate.  Exploring gay history and culture from the past 40 years can teach us all a great deal about the GLBT movement.  It is incredible to think about how far we have come, but it's still a wonder to me that there is still not equality for everyone in this country.

3.  This show is a celebration of everything gay ... and we do everything BIG ... big songs, big dances, big costumes, and big hair.

4.  We want to take you on a rollercoaster of emotions. EG2Z will have you laughing, singing along, and it will certainly touch your hearts.

We spend about 2 years preparing our shows, from the initial idea to the fine tuning of everything on the stage.  COME AND CELEBRATE everything gAy to Z with us on March 20 and 21.

Jeff
